Mondelez finds new CEO and other industry moves
In the ever-changing world of food and beverages, Mondelez International looms large, owning several popular brands. The company has recently selected McCain Foods President Dirk Van de Put to be its new CEO. Current Mondelez CEO Irene Rosenfeld has decided to step down after a decade in the role.
There is a new executive vice president and chief financial officer at JCPenney, with Jeffrey Davis taking on both roles. High-end accessory brand Fossil Group has added Gail B. Tifford, Unilever vice president of media for North America and global digital innovation, to its board.
In the tech space, Inocybe Technologies has brought on John Zannos as its chief revenue officer. The addition is part of an expansion strategy as the company ramps up its global presence. Digital platform provider Episerver has chosen Sue Bergamo to be its chief information officer, as well as its first chief information security officer. At Opus, ex-PeopleAdmin CFO has taken on financial officer duties.
In life sciences and pharmaceuticals, Q Therapeutics has added Dr. Tom Parks, a 30-year industry veteran, to its Board of Directors. There's also a new independent board member at Progressive Care, where longtime consultant Jervis Hough has joined. At biotechnology firm uniQure, Scott McMillan has been appointed chief operating officer.
