Fills Key Finance Positions

Morristown, NJ (August
18, 2004) - Executive search firm Epsen,
Fuller & Associates, LLC completed three key financial
searches for DRS Technologies, Inc., a leading aerospace
and defense technology company with 37 locations
and $1.0 billion in annual sales.
Coming from various senior audit and financial management
positions at industry leaders Boeing and Rockwell
Collins, Steven Patterson has been appointed to
the newly created position of vice president, internal
audit & compliance. Patterson will be responsible
for development, refinement and delivery of a fully
integrated, best-of-breed internal audit (IA) and
compliance function, including the Section 404 Sarbanes-Oxley
Act requirements.
Joseph Dodi joined DRS as treasury manager with
significant treasury experience throughout his career
at Putnam Investments, Houghton Mifflin Company,
a division of Vivendi Universal and, most recently,
Millennium Chemicals, Inc. (a $1.6 billion chemical
company).
Patricia O'Conner joined DRS earlier this year as
director, financial reporting systems and will utilize
her extensive financial and systems experience,
including her most recent position as manager, headquarters
SAP systems with Philip Morris International division
of Altria Group, to lead the initiative to provide
fully automated reporting and real-time mission
critical information.
"These three executives are key members of
the corporate finance organization and will work
closely with other finance and accounting staff
at the divisional and group level throughout the
corporation and it's 31 business units worldwide,"
said Richard Schneider, executive vice president,
chief financial officer of DRS.

its preferred provider relationship, Thomas Fuller,
general managing partner of Epsen Fuller, noted
that all three positions are critical to the long-term
success of DRS, as the company continues to grow
rapidly through significant acquisitions.

activity, coupled with the internal growth within

technologies, it was paramount that the finance
team acquire top talent in these key positions,"
