Mitsubishi Pharma America, Inc. Launches Two Key Searches
Retains Epsen Fuller/IMD International Search Group 

Morristown, New Jersey (May 1, 2009) – Mitsubishi Pharma America, Inc. (MPA) recently tapped executive search firm Epsen Fuller/IMD International Search Group to identify two key executives for their US headquarters in Warren, NJ. A subsidiary of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation, MPA was created in 2001 as a pharmaceutical development company and is positioned to emerge as a leader in the U.S. Pharmaceutical market.

Both positions will be based in New Jersey and will report to the Executive Director, Clinical Research & Safety.  The Senior Medical Director, Therapeutic Area Head - Nephrology will manage novel and promising drug development through the Phase III clinical trial processes and be the franchise leader of their Nephrology program.

The second position, Medical Director - Head of Safety will focus on insuring the safety of Patients in all MPA therapeutic area clinical trials, detecting safety signals and generating risk management plans regarding drug safety. Further, this individual will head the (U.S.) department of Safety at MPA and will collaborate will the Global Pharmacovigilance Departments (located in Japan and Europe) to support International requirements.

John Gilbert, a Client Partner at Epsen Fuller/IMD and leader of the life science practice will lead the searches along with principal, Conni Bullock.
